To be eligible for funding, you must live in England and have resided in the UK or EU/EEA for the last 3 years, must be aged 19 or over, must not have previously studied the course you are applying for or another similar course and must not currently be enrolled on another government-funded education programme. If you are aged between 19 and 23 - you must hold a full level 2 qualification If you're not eligible for funding, you can purchase the course online if you are over the age of 16.
When completing this course, you will complete four units. These units are: equality and diversity, promote equality diversity and inclusion, positive equality movements and British values. Within this units, you will complete a variety of sections including: the impact of the Equal Pay Act 1970, the impact of the Equality Act 2010, promoting equality and diversity in daily life, discrimination in daily life towards others, positive equality events held in the UK, democracy as it applies in the UK, individual liberty as it relates to daily life in the UK and more.
All learning and assessments will be completed online via The Skills Network's learning platform Equal.
